For my Atlanta natives out there it’s likely that this home needs no introduction. Growing up, this 1930s house, originally designed by architect A.F.N. Everett, had a mystique and eerie feel to it. The Evans-Cucich house on Peachtree Battle is seemingly infamous. Rumors have circulated for years about the home’s elusive history and a supposed secret underground tunnel.
When I moved back to Atlanta a few years ago it was one of the first things that stood out to me. This home that had sat vacant and dilapidating for nearly my whole life had construction signs up. Now nearly 3 years later, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles is sharing a tour of this rehabilitated historical home and I for one cannot believe my eyes. This is a before and after you won’t want to miss.
