Our New Transitional Kitchen

Our kitchen renovation is done, and it is a game changer! Our renovation was LONG. My vision for the kitchen design changed more times than I can count. I debated every design detail, every angle and in the end it all came together within what was possible in the space and our budget. I made last minutes changes like deciding to have an overhang for stools (which I sit on nearly everyday), the upgrade to a wolf stovetop to hold all the cooking we do, and to not have the cabinets go all the way to the ceiling. We were going to have too big of a piece of filler at the top to go to the ceiling. I am so happy with how it turned out and can’t wait to actually style it. We have just the bare bones right now and an extensive list of things we need like a spoon rest!

The hand-glazed backsplash, brass light fixtures and quartz countertops - they look the most like a marble from what I’ve seen - are my favorite things I chose. For pictures and design details scroll down!
