Kilim It In The Kitchen
I am making progress on the kitchen renovation plans. I meet with an architect tomorrow to draw out my top two designs to real measurements in addition to some of the other renovations plans I have— adding a main bathroom, laundry room and bathroom on the main floor. I have some challenges to work through in the kitchen. One is removing the wall between the current kitchen and dining room that will create differing ceiling heights from one room to the next. Next, there are a lot of windows that make kitchen cabinet planning a bit more difficult. I can't complain though—I love natural light.
I’ve been looking at inspiration and love these bold rugs in the kitchen. Persian & Kilim runners have really caught my eye adding a pop of color and personality to a classic white kitchen.
