Decorating A Thanksgiving Table

I love a good centerpiece and a decorated table in the spirit of the holidays.  It really sets the mood for a festive family meal. Taking a page from some of my favorite Thanksgiving table decorations, leafy winter greenery and pumpkins are a great foundation.  Add in some height for variety by mixing  pillar candle holders or seasonal taper candles with tea light candles or pillar candles outside of the holder.

A decorative table cloth or runner in seasonal colors is a great way to easily add festivity to your table. I love this table cloth by Pomegranate that bring in the rusty oranges, greens and whites that mix wondering with metals and natural woods.

Another styling tactic I am loving for Thanksgiving table is mixing natural accents like pine cones, antlers, green leafy garland and pumpkins with delicate more ornate glassware.

For this year, I'm loving the mix of blue and white with natural wood tones and brass metal accents for Thanksgiving table. Blue, white and gold can be mixed with a lot of colors and are perfect if you want to add a pop of color like orange pumpkins.
